How to care for your PVD cutlery:

PVD coated cutlery should be cleaned immediately after use.
The surface can be damaged by leftovers of acid or protein containing foods. If these leftovers are not removed immediately
after use, they may cause stains on the surface which cannot be eliminated by rinsing afterwards.
PVD coated cutlery is basically resistant against wear and tear and scratches through the high temper, but they can appear and impair the surface,
if the PVD coated cutlery is in daily use.
By permanent, daily use the coating gets thinner, similar to silver plating, which may cause the removal of colour after a huge number of dishwasher cycles.

Our recommendation:
- pre-clean soiled cutlery directly after use with clear, warm water
- PVD coated cutlery should be only rinsed by hand
- do not use acid or aggressive cleaners
- always rinse under 60°C
- water stains or residues always should be removed immediately by polishing with a soft cotton cloth
- store the cutlery separated and do not mix it up in one box, to avoid scratches

solex GERMANY only confirms a limited suitability for the dishwasher and durability of the PVD coating. We cannot guarantee a lasting colour fastness.
